As the Senior Pastor at Stonecreek, John’s primary role is to provide spiritual leadership over Stonecreek’s missions and vision, transformational Scripture-based teaching and pastoral care to those in need.

John grew up in Mexico as a child of missionary parents. After graduating from Abilene Christian University he obtained a Masters degree in marriage and family therapy.

Although ministry keeps John pretty busy, he still finds time to weave some of his favorite pastimes into the fabric of everyday life. John loves people and he enjoys good food so if you know of a great little place or want to grab a bite, give him a call!

John and Melissa have been married since 1993, and they have two sons, Cayman & Grayson. The Beemans have lived in the RSM/Mission Viejo area for more than 20 years.

Whether teaching, counseling, or leading officer candidates, Chris brings a blend of biblical clarity, compassion, and grounded wisdom. His ministry is marked by a commitment to helping people encounter Christ in both the ordinary and the demanding moments of life.

Chris and his wife, Solina, have been married since 2015 and are grateful parents to their son, Sam, who works in the service industry. Chris and Sol enjoy prayer walks around the lake near their home, good movies, and exploring new places to eat. They also appreciate their lively “differences of opinion” — Sol usually wins, of course… mostly because she uses more words.

He considers it a privilege to be used by God through music and leading worship. Randy and his wife Marcia were married in 2000, and they are the proud parents of two adult children, Mason and Alison. His favorite pastimes include music, hiking with the kids, and spending quality time with his wife.

He served 11 years leading Saddleback’s Separated Men’s group, 9 years leading worship at Saddleback’s Overdrive Venue, and 5 years as Worship Pastor at The Journey Church in Yorba Linda. He loves playing guitar and drums, watching heartwarming, feel-good movies, Lakers games with Jayna, tinkering, and being part of the watchmen community, eagerly anticipating the soon return of Jesus Christ.

The image of her mother kneeling before the bed every morning and every night beseeching God was a light shining in her desperate situation that led her to beseech God herself. God extended His grace, and Amy has not turned back. She and her mom became prayer partners until the day her mom was taken home to be with Jesus.

Now, in her “golden” age, Amy realizes even more the power of prayer. Nothing impacts people’s lives more than bringing them to the throne of grace in Christ’s Name. Being Stonecreek’s Prayer Coordinator is her small way of doing so for one person at a time with one need at a time.

Elaine is the proud mom of two sons who live in Denver, Colorado. Her oldest is married — and if she could be anywhere on any given day, it would be right there with them. She is passionate about helping children develop a personal relationship with Jesus, a heart for His will, and a strong sense of community within our church family. On Sunday mornings, you'll find Elaine arriving early, prepping the room and finalizing the lesson for the children's ministry, making sure the worship crew is hydrated, and setting up kitchen treats. When not serving, Elaine enjoys reading, traveling, music, and a good game night; and fair warning, she plays to win! She also loves to sing, joyfully and unapologetically off-key.

With over 20 years of close partnership alongside Pastor John, Tim brings a spirit of loyalty and dedication to everything he does. He has a genuine heart for people and takes great joy in welcoming first-time visitors, making them feel comfortable and welcome. Outside of his service to the church, Tim enjoys the world of motorsports, is in a local car club, and takes pride in his beautifully restored 1968 GMC truck.
