Thanks for taking the time to check out Stonecreek. When Stonecreek began in 1988, we had in mind a church that sought to authentically follow Jesus like the first century believers. We wanted to be Christians only, not elevating secondary issues (which we should be able to disagree about and not divide over) to feel like primary issues (essentials of the Christian faith).
As time progressed, we have continued that endeavor and have desired to also be the kind of church we would want to attend and be a part of, the kind of church where people have an authentic encounter with God and courageously follow Jesus’ leadership. A connecting place that connects people to Jesus and to one another. A place where you can develop deep, caring relationships and use your life to make a difference in the world.
Every week we work hard to create that church – a church that people love to attend – where nobody’s perfect and everyone’s welcome. A place where you can explore what it means to follow Jesus and rediscover life. A place that will encourage you to connect to Jesus and challenge you to connect others to Him.
If you’re looking for a church home then we want to invite you to join us on the journey to following Jesus together. Check out What We Believe and you’ll see that we are an authentic family of believers that gather together to encourage each other, pick each other up, and challenge each other on the walk to discovering a connected life with God. A church is a hospital for sinners, not a museum of saints. We identify ourselves as broken people in need of a savior, rather than an organization whose members are identified by their adherence to a certain set of behavioral rules. We would love the opportunity to meet you!
Our mission support transcends borders, reaching communities far and wide. Together, we stand as a force for positive change, supporting missions that bring hope, help, and healing to those in need worldwide. Join us in making a lasting impact on a global scale."
